The Protocol Discussion category is dedicated to proposing enhancements and exploring new possibilities for improving the Xsolla ZK protocol. Whether you’re brainstorming ideas or presenting a refined proposal, this is the space to share your vision and receive feedback.

How to Submit a Proposal Related to Xsolla ZK

I. Navigate to Protocol Discussion
Go to the “Protocol Discussion” category on the forum.

II. Start a New Topic
Click the “+” sign or “New Topic” to open the topic creation menu.

III. Select a Subcategory
Use the dropdown menu to choose one of the following options:

  • PIP Ideas: Create a free-format topic to discuss your idea with the community before formalizing it.
  • PIP Drafts: If your idea is well-developed, submit it directly as a formal proposal.

IV. Follow the Proposal Format (if posting in PIP Drafts):

  1. Title: Use the format “PIP-Proposal number — Your title.”
    Example: PIP-15 — New Staking Feature. Assign the number based on previous PIPs.

  2. Brief: Summarize your proposal in 2–3 sentences.

  3. Reasoning: Explain why the proposal is important and how it improves the protocol.

  4. Specifications: Provide details about platforms, technologies, or methods involved.

  5. Steps to Implement: Outline the process, including costs, manpower, and resources required.

  6. Timeline: Include key dates, milestones, and an estimated completion date.

  7. Overall Cost: Present the total estimated budget for the proposal.

V. Community Review and Feedback
Once submitted, your proposal will be open for community feedback. Actively engage with others, answer questions, and refine your ideas based on suggestions.

VI. Voting
Proposals that gain significant community attention will be moved to the Live PIPs for voting and further consideration.
